I'm Akil, a Seattle-based photographer and, by day, a sales leader at AAA Washington. Photography isn't a side hustle for me. It's the other half of who I am. The part that slows down, pays attention, and finds the beauty in what's real. I came to photography through a genuine obsession with light and how it falls on a face, fills a room, or turns an ordinary PNW afternoon into something you want to hold onto. I shoot weddings, couples, portraits, and personal branding sessions with the same intention: make it feel true. My wife and I spend weekends exploring the Pacific Northwest - the trails, the coastlines, the hidden spots most people drive past. That wandering informs everything I shoot.
